Porto and Fi Popup show and Colonsay Art Trail

Sarah is delighted to be returning for another Pop-up show at her favourite local café/bistro Porto and Fi in Newhaven, Edinburgh. Do come and join us to see lots of new work on display for one night only 6.30-8.30 pm on Easter Sunday 21 April. The café will show up to 10 artworks and prints over the early summer months.

And on the west coast, from Saturday 27 April - Sarah is thrilled that her work will be featured in the Colonsay Art Trail during the Colonsay Spring Festival. Sarah loves this island and will be painting there this month.

Art venues will be open Wednesdays and Saturdays 3-6.30 pm from Saturday 27 April until Saturday 18 May.

Workshop 'Lyrical Landscapes - the Creative Process'

Sarah is excited to announce that she will be leading an upcoming workshop at ‘Off The Rails Arthouse’

The workshop is called Lyrical Landscape - The Creative Process  and it pursues the theme of landscape through the medium of watercolour. This is a real treat for anyone who is contemplating a summer of landscape studies. It is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced artists.

In this one-day workshop Sarah will help you to explore watercolour and show you how to reflect colour, atmosphere, space and light within landscape. Come with an open mind and experiment with paint, collage and pigments. It is a wonderful opportunity to explore your creativity and connect, engage and play with developing colour palettes through a series of studies. You don’t have to be experienced in watercolour to benefit from this workshop – beginners are also welcome.

Coves and Coasts exhibition at Humbie Hub

Sarah is delighted to be exhibiting a new exhibition, 'Coves and Coasts', at Humbie Hub, East Lothian. The private view is on Friday 5 October, 6.30pm-8pm, and the exhibition runs until Tuesday 6 November.
